In 2007 Forest River introduced the newest motor home to their diesel line up - the Berkshire. Finally, a diesel motor home where luxury is truly within reach. The Berkshire offers all the amenities of a high-end luxury diesel motor coach at about the same price as a high-end petrol motor home.

Impressed with the quality of Forest River products Griffin American Motorhomes are now importing the Berkshire which is built on the industry-proven Freightliner Raised Rail XC chassis (28,000lb GVWR) with complete pass through storage and side-hinged locker doors. Available as standard with the Cummins 340 ISB and 6 speed Allison electronic transmission or optional Cummins 350 ISB.

The wrap-around Dash Configuration is a unique feature to Forest River incorporating a 9 gauge instrument cluster, LCD engine message centre and hide-a-way rear vision camera monitor.

For your entertainment there is a 32” LCD TV in the lounge area and a surround sound system with bass woofer and mid-range tweeter. The bedroom area incorporates a 19” LCD TV.

The kitchen area continues the luxury theme with Corian work surfaces and brushed nickel hardware, convection microwave, 8 cubic foot refrigerator with ice maker. Upgrades include a 12 cubic foot , side by side, stainless steel refrigerator and a solid wood free-standing dinette with 4 chairs.
